Three big retail sites up for sale across the province

Share

Three major retail sites including phase one of Riverside in Coleraine and Lisnagelvin Shopping Centre in Londonderry have gone on the market.

The sites, which also include the Craigavon Tesco store, are currently owned by large London-based investment company British Land.

The listed firm has appointed commercial property agents Savills to sell the retail sites.

British Land first took on Lisnagelvin Shopping Centre as part of a property swap with Tesco, which it completed earlier this year.

It’s understood British Land, which deals in commercial property across the globe, is trying to free up some of its smaller land assets.

The business is also selling part of Riverside Retail Park in Coleraine, which has supermarket giant Sainsbury’s as its main anchor tenant.

The three retail sites are the latest major shopping areas to go on sale here in the last few months.
