Simon Brien Residential opens fourth office in Northern Ireland

Estate agency Simon Brien Residential has established its fourth office in Northern Ireland and continues to expand against the backdrop of an improving housing sector.

The firm has opened an office in Newtownards, adding to their presence already established in south Belfast, east Belfast and Holywood. The company now employs 50 people with the opening of the Newtownards branch creating five new jobs.

The Northern Ireland housing market has been making a steady recovery in recent years.The latest residential property price index from Land & Property Services described a 4.4% rise in average house prices to £128,650 between the second quarter of last year and the second quarter of 2017.

The last three years has seen Simon Brien Residential handle 4,500 property sales worth a combined total of £925m. The agency founder Simon Brien highlighted: “The Northern Ireland housing sector is performing well and we are looking ahead to the future with optimism.

“It is this sense of confidence in the market which has spurred on our decision to expand our business further and establish a presence within the area.

“We are excited to grow in Newtownards and the Ards Peninsula areas, providing new employmentopportunities for local people with experience in property.

“Recent statistics have shown a 4.4% growth in house prices over the past year and we anticipate that this momentum will continue.”

He added: “We have had a great period of success over the last three years, securing sales for several thousand clients, and we look forward to developing our business further and offering our professional services to many new clients.”

Manager of the Newtownards branch, Andrea White, said: “Our focus in Newtownards will be to provide a highly professional, personal service to our clients.”
