Michael Jackson’s Neverland branch has recently been placed for sale. Re-branded as The Sycamore Ranch, the California property is on the market for a cool £54m or $67m.
Refurbished in order to sell, the ranch is on the market with a $100m drop in asking price from the last listed price, back in 2015, when it failed to sell.
History & Comprises
Jackson bought the property back in 1987 for $19.5m, however when the pop star fell into financial difficulty in 2008 the title was handed over to Colony Capital investment fund, who are now trying to sell.
The property has 5 bedrooms in the main building, however this is one of 22 buildings spread througout the vast site over 2,700 acres. Other key features include a 50-seat cinema, a lagoon-style swimming pool, a railway track and a fire station. Not your usual comprises you would find in a NI property!
Downsides to the property include the removal of the amusement park and the petting zoo following the recent refurbishment!
