It was all about the future as McGeown Estate Agents celebrated their 15th birthday with an event in their Lisburn Road office on Friday 24th February.
Family, friends, staff and business colleagues filled the McGeown office to hear host and BBC Sports Presenter Mark Sidebottom congratulate McGeown director Danny McGeown on an exceptional fifteen years as one of the leading independent Estate Agencies in Belfast.
Danny McGeown opened McGeown Estate Agents in early 2002 with a small staff and has developed and grown McGeown Estate Agents even through the property crash which caused incredible difficulties for the property sector here in Northern Ireland.
The business has enjoyed a burgeoning trade in recent times with their personal and attentive service being particularly attractive to clients.
In his speech to those gathered, Danny McGeown said:
“Today is an important milestone in the history of McGeown Estate Agents.
Fifteen years ago we opened our doors for the first time here on the Lisburn Road.
I had learnt my trade at HG Hadley and Company for four years and then with Kevin McKay at McKay Property Services for ten years and I was absolutely determined to use the invaluable experience that I had gained to make this business a success.
Fifteen years later, I am proud to say that McGeown Estate Agents is going strong, that we are growing and that our future is bright.
The staff here at McGeown are the cornerstone of the business. They really are.
Many of them have been here for a long time.
They know this area, they know our clients who have been with us for many years, and they know how to deliver a first-class personal service.
Through a mini recession and right through the period of the property crash our staff were resilient. We diversified, we adapted and we came out the other end still standing and still strong.
So all the staff here deserve great credit for their efforts and tonight is their night.
I also want to give a massive thank you to all our clients over the years for trusting us and giving us the chance to deliver for them.
We greatly appreciate their business and their loyalty.
We will keep working to help our clients make the right choice for your future.
