In Co. Antrim, work is underway on a luxury new housing development. This development could be the beginning of hundreds of new properties for the area.
The latest project from UK property firm Neptune Group is Ollar Valley in Ballyclare. This development went on the market earlier this week.
Nine house types will be available and will range from three-bedroom properties at £140,000, to four bedroom detached properties for £225,000.
Director of Neptune Group, Creighton Boyd stated: “There is a real demand for premium homes in Northern Ireland and we’re delighted to be providing a choice of properties that will appeal to local home buyers, particularly those considering buying their first homes, who demand exceptional quality and superior design without compromise.”
The head of Colliers’ new home division, David Menary, added: “Ollar Valley is located on the Templepatrick Road in Ballyclare, which is hugely convenient to the town centre and is just under 20 minutes’ drive from Belfast city.
“Neptune Group is a well-respected and established company that offer high specification homes finished with fine attention to detail, suitable for a wide range of buyers.”
It is understood that Neptune Group has purchased a large tranche of property in the surrounding area which may lead to the building of hundreds of additional homes.
Neptune is also linked to many homes in south Belfast including the pavilion conversion at the heart of the Belvoir Park development, which launched this summer.
It contains interiors fashioned by design consultant Claire Hammond and is located within one of the original Edwardian pavilions at Belvoir Park.
Meanwhile, over 1,300 properties could be constructed in Co Antrim, along with a new motorway road link.
Developers have put forward a pre-application notice for the creation of a link road on the M1 motorway at Sprucefield and the Knockmore Road junctions on the outskirts of Lisburn.
This application has been made by developer Neptune Carleton.
