The popular Belfast development which saw house hunters queue for the first time in nine years last spring is on the verge of releasing its second phase.

People queued for up to 12 hours eager to snap up one of the luxury homes in south Belfast’s Belvoir Park where the first 27 sold within hours of release.

Anyone disappointed first time round will have another chance next Friday as the developer Neptune Group has announced the release of a new collection of 3-5 bedroom homes.

This exciting new phase will include the sympathetic conversion of two of the original Grade II listed pavilions which have been turned into six townhouses set in front of formal gardens.

Designed by listed building specialists Sutherland Architects, the aim is to meticulously restore these fine historic Edwardian buildings with grand entrance halls, elegant reception rooms and expansive bedrooms. Sutherland will be aiming to strike the perfect balance between the original period beauty of the building and modern contemporary design.

Phase two will also offer Edwardian-inspired new-build homes designed by renowned London based architect, John Simpson.

Speaking ahead of the release of Phase two, Neptune Group Director Creighton Boyd said: “We are delighted to have the opportunity in this new phase of Belvoir Park to offer local homebuyers a unique choice of new homes that sympathetically brings together the wonderful architectural heritage of the site with house designs that meet the demands of modern family living.”

Only 15 minutes from Belfast City Centre, Belvoir Park will include 34 acres of private ancient woodland sitting on the edge of the National Lagan Valley Regional Park, with over 7,000 mature trees, grass and wild flower meadows; a natural spring feed meadow and bluebell woodland glades.

Also at its heart are formal gardens first laid out in 1904 and now being brought up to date by one of Belfast’s leading landscape architects to create an amazing shared space exclusively for the Belvoir Park Community.

This new phase will offer a choice of 21 new homes including seven Coach Houses, two detached Mansion Houses and 12 elegantly appointed Townhouses. Simon Brien Residential will be hosting the launch of the phase in its offices at 525 Lisburn Road from 9am on Friday, February 5.

There will also be a number of Pavilion Preview Weekends to give potential homebuyers the opportunity to experience the scale and grandeur of these unique townhouses for themselves on site.

Speaking ahead of the launch of the new phase, Simon Brien said: “We are very excited to be launching this new phase at Belvoir Park.

“Demand for these homes will be high we believe, based on the number of potential homebuyers registering their interest on belvoir-park.com.

“Each and every home has been individually designed to offer buyers the perfect living space but to give a true impression of the site, we will be organising special previews over the coming weeks.”
