Home from home as couple enter competitive housing market

Sharon and Chris Gregg were the first people to buy a house through Vision Property when the Belfast-based company started in 2006.

Now, in a vote of confidence in the expanding estate agency, the couple are running its newest branch in Bangor.

Sharon spent time working in the company’s Grand Parade office in 2015 before she and Chris decided that the future lay in helping it open its third office in North Down. It also has a branch in Dundonald, which was established just seven months ago.

She said: “Bangor may not appear to be the obvious choice for opening a new branch of an estate agency, since it is already home to quite a few. But we believe the people of North Down will be attracted by our unique fixed-fee approach to both selling and letting at a time when every penny counts.

“We’re delighted that as a husband and wife team we’re keeping the family ethos in a business that has been family run for a decade and has been versatile enough to weather the ups, downs and rebirth of the Northern Ireland housing market.”

Vision Property, founded in 2006, offers a fixed sale price of £950 with no upfront fees, a bright modern image and personal service.

In the rental sector, the company manages more than 150 properties and has more than 200 non-managed properties on its books. It offers to find a tenant for a £250 finder’s fee.

To mark its opening, the Bangor branch of Vision has several special offers on top of its unique fixed fee sale. Details are available in the office at 25 Bridge Street, Bangor, at the bottom of Main Street and opposite the Marina.

Said Sharon: “Whether you’re buying or selling, or even just considering it, call in for a chat and a cup of coffee to see how different we are. We like to think we blend the future of property sales with old fashioned family service. We also challenge anyone to beat us on price.”
