Being a private landlord or letting agent managing private residential property on behalf of a private landlord, has never been more challenging; where once renting a property was seen by many as ‘money for old rope’, nowadays private residential tenancies are strictly regulated in terms of tenancy and deposit registration, equality and diversity, and property upkeep and maintenance.
And that’s exactly the reason why Chartered Institute of Housing (CIH), has been rolling out its Learning 2 Let training programme across Northern Ireland, to help create a better private rented sector for everyone – landlords, letting agents, and tenants alike.
A level 2 qualification for just £100
Because L2L is in receipt of bursary support from the Department for Communities, the total cost of gaining this practical award is now just £100 for all *registered private landlords and letting agents.
And the even better news is that a number of new course dates and locations have just been announced, which means you can be sure there’ll be one near you, wherever you live. Or, for those of you who simply can’t afford to take time off to take this course in a classroom environment, the course is now also available online as a distance learning option.
