An imposing seven-bedroom, 19th century mansion has gone on sale for offers around £500,000.

Lakeview House is located just outside Lurgan in Co Armagh and sits prominently on a sizeable plot of land.

Offering strong views over the surrounding countryside, stretching to Lough Neagh, the manor house boasts a swimming pool, snooker room and several garages.

In need of some refurbishment, the house, which has been placed on the market by commercial property firm Lisney, also has lands to the front and rear, along with a walled garden, courtyard and pond.

Meanwhile, a large plot of land in east Belfast, which has been earmarked for 52 new homes, has gone on sale for £1.5m.

The seven-acre Ferndene Road development in the Dundonald area has outline planning permission for a new major residential development.

It’s the latest large proposed residential site to be put on the market by Simon Brien.

It comes after a huge 165-acre site outside Ballyclare was snapped up for an undisclosed sum by English property firm Neptune Group. The land has permission for 1,800 new homes.

It is understood the Ballyclare site was formerly owned by KPL Contracts, run by Kevin Lynch.

Meanwhile, just last week a Co Antrim horse stud farm was placed on the market for £2m.

The 22-acre farm in Ballyclare includes a five-bedroom farmhouse, stables, outbuildings and tracks, along with other land.
