The posh London flat where socialite Tara Palmer-Tomkinson was living when she died at the age of 45 has sold for £2.3million, £200,000 less than the initial asking price.
Palmer-Tomkinson, who was a family friend of Prince Charles, was notorious for her hard partying lifestyle in the Nineties.
In later years the “It girl” led a quieter life and in 2005 bought the flat on the top two floors of a mansion block in Earls Court for £1.7 million.

The three-bedroom penthouse has been refurbished by the executors of her estate.
