COMIC legend Richard Pryor’s large and ultra luxurious 2.2 acre estate in California is up for sale for $3m.

The site is a private playground with tennis, tether ball and basketball courts, an outdoor kid’s playground, barbeque pavilion, putting green, large pool with spa, waterfall and slide.

There also six buildings on the site including the main home, guesthouse, and a dance studio.

The Mediterranean-influenced home is designed with rows of French doors looking out over the lawn and you can also play inside too in the huge billiard room.

Pryor made this house (and the city)famous in 1980 when one night during a drug binge he doused himself with booze, set himself on fire, jumped out the window and ran down the street before being found and rescued by the police.

ACTOR Peter Gallagher has cut over £700,000 off the price of his Californian home, which was listed in February for $6m.

The US star known for playing Deputy Chief William Dodds in ‘Law & Order: Special Victims Unit’ and Sandy Cohen on ‘The OC’ paid £3mfor the 5,225 sq ft mansion in Brentwood in 2007.

Since February he has cut the price twice and itis now selling for £5.25m Built in 1948, the L-shaped house is situated on about a half-acre of mature landscaped gardens and is divided into two wings, one above the other.

The second floor can be used as a guest wing and has its own kitchen, family room with a high ceiling and skylights, a balcony, two bedrooms, and a bathroom.

On the open-plan ground floor, the master suite has its own den, his-and-her walk-in closets and two sets of French doors opening onto a saltwater pool.

There are six bedrooms and 4.5 bathrooms.
