THE stunning Venice apartment which features in the new Dan Brown thriller Inferno is expected to fetch £4mwhen it goes under the hammer today.

The spectacular canal-side Piano Nobile apartment, set behind an original Gothic façade, is one of Venice’s most coveted properties.

Dating back to the 15th century, it has direct access to the waterway, an incredible reception room, dining area, large kitchen, balconies, three en-suite bedrooms, two further bedrooms and bathrooms.

It served as the dramatic backdrop for scenes with Tom Hanks and Felicity Jones in Inferno and goes up for auction today with Concierge Auctions.

A TWO-BEDROOM flat built on the site where a number of Alfred Hitchock movies were shot in Gainsborough Studios has just gone on the market.

The two-bedroom Islington apartment comes with a large sculpture of Hitchcock’s head in the courtyard.

The apartment sits on the site of the original film studio where Hitchcock’s first suspense thriller, The Lodger, was shot.

He returned to film his later master piece The Lady Vanishes and a number of 1940s melodramas were also produced there.

Now a contemporary development, a two bedroom apartment in the block, which offers panoramic views over looking Regents Canal is listed for £895,000.
