26 Obel Tower flats on the market

A group of apartments in Belfast’s Obel Tower has gone on the market for over £2m.

Located in Ireland’s tallest residential building, each of the 26 studio apartments is priced at around £77,000.

The portfolio is being sold by property agents Lisney. This agent has also been instructed to sell a residential development in Portrush which has planning permission for 24 apartments. They also have a car showroom in Belfast on the market.

The car showroom, which is situated on Boucher Way, is currently let by Isaac Agnew dealership and being sold for £625,000

The development site in Portrush, with planning permission for 24 apartments, is located close to the Royal Portrush Golf Club, which will host the 2019 British Open.

Lloyd Hannigan, chartered surveyor at Lisney, highlighted that the Portrush site has generated a “huge amount” of interest with its sought-after location and scale of the opportunity.

“Developers are keen to offer a premium product in the town and capitalise on the anticipation ahead of the Open golf championship to be held there next year,” he said.

Elsewhere on the market, a property consisting of two commercial units and six residential apartments is for sale in Armagh City’s Russell Street.

This investment opportunity is on the market with Best Property Services and is being sold for £480,000. The commercial shop / office units have been recently refurbished and are located on the ground floor. ‘Porter’s Lodge’ is located above on the first floor – a set of six residential apartments.

An office building in Mallusk is available to rent from £8.50 per square foot or buy for £775,000.

The property on the Mallusk Road also features on-site parking for 12 vehicles.

Elsewhere, an east Belfast office building has gone of the market for £3m.

This three-storey property is located on the Holywood Road and is currently leased to Fujitsu, a Japanese technology firm. This property also comes with basement parking.

Both properties in Mallusk and Holywood Road are being sold by property consultants Danker Associates.

Osborne King’s property auction is also due to take place on Friday at Belfast’s Clayton Hotel with over 60 lots up for sale.
